Bob welcomes extra SEND funding on the Island

MP Bob Seely today welcomed at least £115,000 in extra government money for the Island to help with extra places and facilities for special educational needs pupils.

My understanding is that no child on the Isle of Wight has had their free school meals entitlement changed because Universal credit has not been rolled out here for claimants with children.

Island MP Bob Seely has welcomed the launch of a new review on securing the future of local and regional press.

The internet has eroded advertising income for local media leading to cuts in staff and the ability to hold local representatives and organsiations to account.
