Please see below a statement from Bob Seely MP in response to an announcement that Red Funnel has been successful in its bid to the Government’s Maritime Accessibility Fund.

Bob Seely MP said: “It’s good news that Wightlink and Red Funnel have secured a sizeable amount of money from the government’s Maritime Accessibility Fund to improve the accessibility of ferry operations for disabled and reduced mobility passengers.
 
“The £1 million funding pot was created exclusively for the Isle of Wight and Isles of Scilly. I’m glad that Government is listening to our needs and acting on it.”
