During a parliamentary debate on Isle of Wight Local Government Finance on Thursday (23 November), Mr Seely spoke about the high cost of cross-Solent ferries and the impact the fares had on the cost of providing council and other services on the Island.

Bob Seely MP said: “I spoke to senior officials from the Department for Education yesterday about my continued concerns over what the Alliance Councillors are doing on the Island and the damage to primary school education as well as education overall.
